Jarome Iginla ist einer
der Topstars der NHL, ein absoluter Superstar, so gewann er in der Saison
2003/2004 die Maurice Richard Trophy zusammen mit Rick Nash und Ilja
Kovalchuk. In der Saison 2001/2002 kam er sogar noch weiter, da gewann er
die Scorerliste und die damit verbundene Art Ross Trophy. Gedraftet wurde
Iginla von den Dallas Stars als 11th Overall in der ersten Runde des 1995
Entry Draft. Sein enormes Talent wurde aber von den Stars nicht entdeckt und
so wurde er für Joe Nieuwendyk (seines Zeichens ebenfalls NHLFS Leaf) nach
Calgary getradet und dort explodierte der unglaublich Torgefährliche Winger.
